IntelliFat BOD | Adipose-Derived Therapy

Advancing Regenerative Medicine

At Sikora Integrative Medicine, IntelliFat BOD is an advanced, autologous adipose-derived procedure designed to process and reinject a patient’s own fat tissue to support natural tissue repair mechanisms.

This minimally invasive option is developed through collaborative innovation and aligns with our regenerative medicine focus. It offers an outpatient approach for those exploring alternatives to traditional interventions.

Backed by emerging research on adipose tissue’s innate regenerative properties, IntelliFat BOD emphasizes precision harvesting, purification, and delivery—ideal for those seeking integrative orthobiologic support. Our board-certified team, led by Dr. Alita Sikora, ensures a tailored evaluation to assess suitability within your wellness plan.

Dr. Sikora and her team will use this system to harvest the patient’s own adipose or fat tissue. Fat cells are full of stem cells and growth factors which can be used to help tissue regenerate and restore.

What Is IntelliFat BOD Adipose-Derived Therapy?

IntelliFat BOD is a device that facilitates the preparation of micro-fragmented adipose tissue from the patient’s body. Intellifat is unlike traditional fat grafting procedures which require liposuction and often general anesthesia.  This system allows us to harvest rich fat stores and inject these cells for orthopedics, wounds, and aesthetics.  This procedure is performed with local anesthesia only.  This utilizes the patient’s own fat which is rich in growth factors and stem cells.

How Adipose-Derived Therapy Works

A fat transfer with Intellifat will be performed in our Vero Beach office allowing you to rest comfortably during your procedure which usually takes under an hour.

1

Harvest

A small volume of adipose tissue is collected using minimally invasive techniques via a cutting-edge cannula, through a minor incision in the midsection (e.g., love handles).

2

Purify and Resize

The tissue is processed with sterile saline and state-of-the-art filters in a closed system to reduce contamination risks. It is then micronized to an optimal 500-micron cluster size using patented diamond resizer technology, preserving stem cells.

3

Transfer

The prepared micro-fat is injected into targeted areas, supporting the body’s innate repair pathways.

Who Is a Good Candidate for IntelliFat BOD Adipose-Derived Therapy

IntelliFat BOD Adipose-Derived Therapy may be a great option for adults who are dealing with ongoing joint or muscle discomfort that affects their daily life. It can also be used for nonhealing wounds and for facial aesthetics.  If you’ve tried treatments such as physical therapy or steroid injections with only limited improvement, this advanced, non-surgical approach could be worth exploring.

It’s especially appealing for those who want to stay active and recover quickly without significant downtime. However, this treatment may not suit those with active infections or certain medical conditions. A personalized consultation with your provider is the best way to determine if IntelliFat BOD Therapy is right for you.

Benefits of IntelliFat BOD Therapy

Emerging research highlights adipose tissue’s potential contributions to:

  • Natural Repair Support: Secretion of stem cells, growth factors and cytokines that may aid tissue regeneration and repair defects.
  • Minimized Discomfort: Micro-sized particles enable easier injections with reduced pain at the site.
  • Efficiency and Safety: Closed-system processing lowers environmental risks, with effects potentially noticeable within days based on general observations.
